The first flight of the newly equipped 107-frame aircraft ? COMAC
At 6:52 a.m., the C919 aircraft (the seventh, 107th aircraft), numbered B-001J, took off from runway 4 at Pudong Airport and landed safely at 9:54 a.m., marking the successful completion of the first flight test of the first C919 aircraft to be delivered to the first user by COMAC.
The first flight of the first C919 large passenger aircraft delivered to customers also makes the project transition from the research and development test flight and verification test flight stage to the batch production delivery stage. 6 test aircraft will be put into test flight in the C919 development batch, fully carry out stall, power, performance, operation and stability, flight control, icing, high temperature and alpine and other subjects test flight. At the same time there are two ground test aircraft were put into static test, fatigue test and other test work.
On May 5 this year, the C919 celebrated the fifth anniversary of its first flight. The soon-to-be-delivered customer C919 has been given a new white paint job, which is more simple and beautiful. The following review of the previous first flight nodes on this memorable day.
101 aircraft ? COMAC
The first C919 large passenger aircraft successfully made its maiden flight at Shanghai Pudong International Airport at 14:00 on May 5, 2017. The aircraft took off from the fourth runway of Pudong International Airport at 14:00, cruised and flew smoothly for 1 hour and 19 minutes in the specified airspace at an altitude of 3,000 meters southeast of Nantong, and returned to land safely at 15:19.
After the successful maiden flight, the CPC Central Committee and the State Council issued a congratulatory message to all the participating research and test units that participated in the development task of the large passenger aircraft to express congratulations and condolences. "The C919 large passenger aircraft is China's first 150-seat class mainline passenger aircraft developed in accordance with international airworthiness standards, and its successful maiden flight marks a major breakthrough in China's large passenger aircraft project and an important milestone in the development of China's civil aviation industry." May 5, 2017 is also forever enshrined in the history of China's civil aviation industry.
102 aircraft ? COMAC
On December 17, 2017, the second C919 large passenger aircraft completed its first flight at Shanghai Pudong International Airport. 102 aircraft took off from the fourth runway of Pudong International Airport at 10:34 a.m., with a flight time of 2 hours, and returned to land safely at 12:34 a.m. after completing the scheduled test flight subjects. The flight initially checked the aircraft's takeoff and landing performance and the working condition of all major systems and equipment. During the flight, the aircraft was checked for flap retraction, landing gear system, navigation and communication system status, and acceleration and deceleration characteristics.
Previously, the first 101 aircraft has been transferred to Xi'an in November 2017, so that the two C919 aircraft entered the test flight status and the project stepped into a new journey of full-scale test flight.
103 aircraft ? COMAC
At 11:07 on December 28, 2018, C919 aircraft 103 (the third C919 aircraft) took off from the fourth runway of Pudong International Airport. During the 1-hour and 38-minute flight, 21 test points were completed. 12:45 a.m., C919 large passenger aircraft 103 landed safely at Shanghai Pudong International Airport and successfully completed its first flight, marking a total of three C919 aircraft currently in test flight.
The 103 C919 aircraft was subsequently transferred to Yanliang in Xi'an to conduct test flights for chatter, airspeed calibration, load, operation and stability and performance. So far, three C919 in Xi'an Yanliang, Shandong Dongying and Jiangxi Nanchang to carry out simultaneous test flights in multiple locations.
104 aircraft ? COMAC
On August 1, 2019, C919 large passenger aircraft 104 (C919 fourth aircraft) took off from the fourth runway of Shanghai Pudong International Airport at 5:32 a.m. After a one-hour and 25-minute flight, it returned and landed smoothly at 6:57 a.m. after completing a number of test points and initial maneuvering checks on various aircraft systems, successfully completing its first test flight mission.
The 104th aircraft is the fourth test aircraft of the C919 large passenger aircraft, which mainly undertakes test flights of avionics system, take-off and landing performance, automatic flight system and natural icing and other related subjects.
105 aircraft ? COMAC
On October 24, 2019, C919 large passenger aircraft 105 (C919 fifth aircraft) took off from Shanghai Pudong International Airport at 10:00 a.m., and after a flight of 1 hour and 37 minutes, returned and landed smoothly at 11:37 a.m., successfully completing its first test flight mission.
The 105th aircraft is the 5th test aircraft of the C919 large passenger aircraft, which mainly undertakes test flights in high temperature, high cold and other special weather conditions, as well as environmental control, power supply, full fluid drainage and other related subjects.
106 aircraft ? COMAC
On December 27, 2019, C919 large passenger aircraft 106 (C919 sixth aircraft) took off from the fourth runway of Pudong Airport at 10:15, after 2 hours and 5 minutes of flight, after completing 30 test points, returned and landed smoothly at Pudong Airport at 12:20. So far, all six test aircraft of C919 large passenger aircraft have been put into test flight, and the project has officially entered the stage of "six machines and four places" (six machines, 101-106, four places: Shanghai Pudong, Xi'an Yanliang, Shandong Dongying, Jiangxi Nanchang) for large intensity test flights.
The 106th aircraft (C919 sixth aircraft) is the sixth test aircraft of C919 large passenger aircraft, according to the plan, it mainly undertakes the test flight task to verify the cabin, lighting, external noise and other related subjects.
2019 is an important nodal year for the C919 project.
2019 is also the start of production for the first delivery of aircraft components. The development and production of a safe, reliable and market-competitive large passenger aircraft and its industrialization is an extremely complex system project. The parts of the 107 aircraft for this first flight were officially started in September 2019, and the first batch of C919 aircraft parts such as the central lower wall panel of the outer wing box section delivered to customers were put into production in the plants in Xi'an, Shanghai and Chengdu.
